  • Long equipment list includes few class best features

  • Absorbent low-speed ride is a big step up from older X3s

  • Impressive refinement thanks to well contained engine, road and wind noise

We don't like

  • Petrol engine specifications are underwhelming

  • Touchscreen is go-to control for too many functions; UI is confusing

  • Some plastics don't feel special enough for a car of this price
