Last Updated on: 05 Jun 2025
The BYD Sealion 7 is equipped with an 82.56kWh Blade Cell LFP battery, delivering two different range figures depending on the powertrain. The single-motor Premium variant offers a single-charge range of 567km (CLTC), while the dual-motor Performance variant offers a slightly lower range of 542km (CLTC) due to the added weight and power. During our Sealion 7 review, the Premium variant returned a real-world range of nearly 500km in mixed driving conditions, whereas the AWD Performance version delivered 370km. For charging, the Sealion 7 supports up to 150kW DC fast charging and 11kW AC charging, but the standard home wallbox charger supplied by BYD is limited to 7kW.
